The California Consumer Protection Foundation (CCPF) has access to a breadth of knowledge given the diverse background of its board of directors. Additionally, CCPF periodically consults experts with experience in a variety of consumer issues, including an advisory committee, thus enabling staff and the board to be apprised of the most current and emerging topics in the very broad consumer advocacy field. The advisory committee has no formal decision-making or governing authority relative to the Foundation’s operations and grant-making activities.
